This installment of The Sims certainly improved the immersiveness of the game by creating a world for your characters to explore, However after achieving wealth, the point of the game seems unclear. Certain pitfalls of the game also remain such as the awkward movement of characters when interacting in tight spaces. Making money is no challenge, except during the initial stages of the game. Writing a book and painting brings in tons of cash. Investing in businesses in town is just overkill. The Sims 3 is a wonderful game, but the fact that it's too easy basically ruins it. Games, just like life, need to be challenging or else there is no point in playing them. This game comes down to a matter of taste, hardcore gamers would probably be discouraged to play it whilst casual players may find it interesting.
