Aliens! Predator! Sounds too good to be true!! Yes, it is...

I switched this game on with eager anticipation, hoping to get a nice beat-'em-up, and sadly I was a little disappointed. The plot to this game is very simple. Aliens have landed on either Earth, or a human colony in space (I forget which) and the predators who happen to be passing by see an opportunity for a challenging hunt and decide to eliminate them all. You control a single Predator and travel through various levels defeating all the Aliens on the planet. The graphics are ok for the time, but everything seems a little large and blocky for me to call them nice. Everything also looks a little fuzzy with little definition to the outlines of things. The sound was pretty much non-existent. I didn't remember any music (so if it was present then it was bad enough to totally ignore). The gameplay was your usual beat-'em-up stuff. You walk along, the screen stops, aliens pour in, you kill them and travel on and if you're lucky you might meet a boss along the way. There are various power ups which seem a tad pointless. Sharp discs which are quite weak are available, and more powerful spears (which I recommend using). The only problem with the weapons is that you cannot seem to pick up anything else until your weapon is all used up. There is also something that makes you use your stealth ability. This makes it harder for you to be seen by the Aliens, but it also makes it harder for the player to see the Predator too. Finally, you can also pick up skulls from some Aliens to get extra points. The reason I say most pickups are useless is because your shoulder cannon can be used to vanquish the aliens in 99% of the situations. You can use the cannon to harm the Aliens, knocking them over and if you time it right you can blast them when they get up again too. Repeat until they are dead. Lastability-wise, the game won't last too long. If you use the aforementioned shoulder cannon method the only enemies that will pose a threat are the bosses. You should have this finished in a few hours.

Overview:
Graphics - Ok, but nothing special
Sound - Practically non-existant.
Gameplay - Boring beat-'em-up style, with not enough to make it stand out from other similar games.
Lastability - Once weaknesses have been established, you should zoom through this game.
