Audio:
Fantastic voice acting by the cast and the sound track really helps set the mood perfectly.
Visuals:
I'd say the worst part of the game. The cut scenes lack the quality you'd expect for an Xbox One game. The rest of it looks fine but everything looks the same and doesn't really feature much variety.
Game Play:
Your standard survival horror game play. They don't do anything original with it. It gets old rather quickly.
Other:
Pretty solid story that ties in well with the franchise. The campaign is annoying long though so it sort of off sets the story. Survival mode is the most pointless game mode of all time, There's no achievements tied to it and no point in playing it aside from seeing if you can beat it. Like most survival horror games, There's a lot of pointless collectibles. They don't really offer much in terms of exploration in the game, Everything is pretty much Point A to Point B. The combat system isn't that good and is rather unsatisfying. They do a perfect job as setting up the suspenseful atmosphere.
Overall: 6/10
I think the biggest flaw is really the lack of content. Aside from the campaign, There's nothing else in this game. So unless you are into 100% games, You shouldn't bother with it. It's not bad but if I hadn't have gotten it on sale for a very low price, I would have never bought it. I really think they should just stop making Alien video games, They never turn out well.
