this game gave me the biggest scare of all time!

Haven't wrote a review for over a year. I had to write one for this though just cause of how bad it not only made me jump but the real feeling of being in mortal danger of the alien for a brief second. I was skeptical of this game UT the resent sale for 24 bucks made me cave in. I thought it be another bore fest like evil within. However, playing at night on a 70 inch hdtv with turtle beach headsets on full blast I was daring the game to try to scare me. I. 35 years old and played my fair share of so called scary games and movies and very rarely do scenes 2 high are meant to scare me actually do. So there I was creeping around trying to stay stealthy in some dark hallway in a creepy medical ward and for some brief seconds I not only jumped, not only screamed out load like a little girl, but I also raised up my hands to defend myself against an alien charging at me which made me feel my life was in mortal danger. Now that's the type of scream it got out of me, not just a scream cause of boo I got you, no no no, it was like oh shet I'm going to die type of scream. The sound, the environment and the aliens behavior was like the stars all aligned to give me the greatest thrill 24 bucks could buy on the face of the earth. I can now say I know what it's like to be hunted by the legendary alien. This memory will stick with me for a life time. Sure, the game itself has very tense moments that makes this game worth the money. But getting this type of emotional response out of some 35 year old dude who isn't moved by much of anything I was in for a rare treat. I doubt I ever get that same epic scare again, since I hope to be more on guard, but having my heart stop once is enough for me. However I'm sure I get some jump scares here and there, but nothing like that where I'm caught so off guard I'm actually scream in terror. We'll there it is, any game that can take me on a ride like that gets a 10, cause it will never happen again. A game that can do that has some sauce in it. I doubt everyone will have an experience like mine but that's what's makes it special for me. Enjoy.
