Take my review as you like, I was born in the 80's and saw most of these movies in the 90's. I have liked the movies, but am not a fanboy by any means. I would give this game 100% but I feel like there is a kink or two. I will start with what I didn't like. The story line, though set post the alien movies is kind of week, didn't really get the game for the story so take that with a grain of salt. Would have loved this game more if it was set in one of the movies, maybe the first ;).
The game however was very exciting, I think its one of those things that if you let it scare you, you will get scared. Turn off the lights and emerse yourself into the world which is ruled by this creature. The world itself is really well done, the amount of time to mimic the aliens movies is splendid. However, at the end of the day the sound fx are really what brought this game home for me. Good sounds made this game a great fear factor.
