Awesome old-school side-scrooling shooter. Maybe you've played with Hominid somewhere in flash games on the net...
The story is really simple, though it isn't the main asset of the game. We play as Hominid, an alien who crashes his space-ship on Earth. Quickly, the FBI clean the crash place, just like something never happened and take away the spaceship (just like the Roswell case). Our journey is to regain our ship, shooting and killing dozens of feds on the way.
This is a typicall side-scrolling shooter, where enemys apear from both sides and we loose a life if we get shot a single time. In the end of each level we get a boss with a big life gauge we have to defeat. Simple, but very addictive. However, we have different levels and mini-games. We have a level (one of my favourites) where we jump from one car to another, before they explode or crash. In another, we are in our spaceship and fight away lots of FBI helicopters.
The graphics are cell-shaded and very funny, keeping the roots from the original flash game.
This is game for everyone: for the ones who never played these old-school arcade games and for the ones who miss them. In fact, there isn't anything like Alien Hominid out there, so, if you're tired of the same old genres and clichés, this is the game for the change.
