As I've gone through time and time again, Working Designs do what they did best, creating animated rpg stories that are beautifully estanlshes the simplistic character designs, some great stroylines, great soundtrack, and most of all the humor in all that singatures the Working Design publisher. Albert Odyessy: Legend of Eldean was realeased exclusively on Sega SDaturn, thoguh twere exisiting counter-parts of this particula seires, Alber Odyssey and Albert Oydessy 2. they seem to have a great time-span different with them. Anyway this is a story about a young man named Pike was saved as a baby by the magical sword,Cirus. He travels a long jounry to find a way to recover the stolen Crystal of Harpy village, where Laia, his gaurdian, sister, caretaker, was turned into stone by Belnard, one of Radoria's fellow minions. Along the way he meet's a lovely singing hostess and barmaid, Eka. Also, a high Prestess names Leos, A strong and silent dragon warrior, Gyrzz, a charming and self-loving birdman, Amon. All whom aid Pike along his journey to fight against Radoria. Then, spoiler alert, you'll meet Kia, a young and spirited socceress, whom is the granddaughter of Varetta, whom went missing along wth the gaint warrior Ceramus, and the noble knight and decendent of Albert himself, Guy. The video game is pretty straight foward, thare aren't many side quests but some of them are very unique (i.e the huge iron gaint quest) As stated, Albert Odyssey delivers where it count, with the simplistic turn-based battles, cool effects, generous magics, fun story, beautifly orchestraed soundtracks and the noteworthy humor worthy of the Working designs name and to be known as one of the most playworthy rpgs ever to grace upon the Sega Saturn console.
