@NS_Sonic204 it's funny that he's defending himself saying "grow up & realize U can't have things in ur way", after all we have morons like him in every societies, who makes Sth big from small thing, who can't realize where to say things, who trolls everybody but they say we don't, who can't keep their mouth shot after they realize they were wrong after all, man I feel srry for him

Honestly the way I feel there's enough half baked spin-off's on XBLA and not enough original games and by original I mean Bastion, Torchlight, Shadow Complex, Trials HD and Toy Soldiers just to name a few. Alan Wake was a very good game it just didn't have much of an ending but so what, it was still good. This one looks stupid, I mean think if they tried to remake Star Wars into an action Horror or something.....it wouldn't work and you'd piss off every hardcore Star Wars fan.....

So when they say he's a super hero now, does that mean we can make him run? seriously it was annoying as hell making him run for 5 seconds then he has to catch his breath .__. anyways, looking forward to it :D

@beeftaco3232 Sir, when you go to a video page of an Xbox 360 game and talk trash about the Xbox 360, it doesn't take a rocket science to figure out that you're being a dumbass.

It's funny how I get thumbed down when it's true. The story was terrible. Didn't mind the gameplay. And this is coming from someone who was a huge fan of Max Payne.

They're not getting any money out of me after the horrible ending of Alan Wake. You would think that they would at least give you some closure, while still leaving room for a sequel. I played it with someone watching and we were interested and invested in the story until Remedy cut it off. What a waste of time.

They should have asked if we could pilfer the lights off of a Christmas tree and use it as armor.

I am very impressed by the videos and previews of the game I have seen so far and this is shaping up to be one of the most promising of the xbla titles planned for 2012. I am getting it as soon as I get home from work tomorrow .

@flesh19no I was really confused at the end as well...but not enough for me to not appreciate the rest of the game. Even though I was baffled, the ending stayed with me, I kept thinking about it, I STILL do. About playing it Nightmare O.o I would never do that...That sounds terrible (You coulda just looked up the manuscripts exclusive to Nightmare's difficulty) Anyways, don't get frustrated at the ending :) It's the journey, not the destination.

The first alan wake was awesome, i liked the fact it was so story driven theres not many storylines in games that truly grab you like what alan wake did. My problem is i dont think they ended it properly. yes alice is saved but what happened to alan stuck in the dream world? i wanted this too carry on that story dig deeper, now it looks like its more action and wake isnt such a tweed wearing normal guy scared in a wood. more of a lumberjack shirt wearing hardcase with a small arsenal of weapons and a bad attitude. really disappointed by what i see here after ive played thru the 1st game on normal hard and elite cos it was that much fun.

At first, I didn't want this at all. After this video, I'm buying the moment it releases on Wednesday. Looks sweet. I am Alive and this look like strong arcade titles.

I liked Alan Wake while playing it. But when I finished I was not sure what happened. Was it a dream, an alternate reality, what happened? I tried the nightmare special episode (the first one), but it was too damn hard, too little ammo, I come to a place where metal objects came to life and just charged at you, I didn't have a chanse. Thats when I put the game away. I feel that the developers now does not what to do with the story and are just milking it. Heck I bet they even really don't know what is real, true, dream themself! What I liked about The Twilight Zone, is that you got a really good ending with a morale. After finishing Alan Wake I didn't get that. I want a good ending in a game, a closure. Like Remedy did with Max Payne 1.

I'm getting it as I loved the original game and am a collector of my favorite series. I liked the video and the ending with the ideas was hilarious! Gamespot, you acted like you enjoyed gaming here, and I would hold him to give you half of earnings with any ideas used! ;-)

It's a digital-only watered-down run&gun spin-off with an afterthought of a single player campaign that can be completed in under three hours. In other words: it's something I won't even consider spending my money on.
