I bought this game due to many good reviews (and a cheap price), but was also wary of many bad reviews. Well, after playing it for a while, the bad reviews win. The combat system is the worst I have played in any PC game ever. There are these annoying phantoms, way faster than you, in endless supply, that take like 10 shots each to kill, and suddenly you find you have no ammo. Weak. I uninstalled the game after maybe an hour of play realizing that I didn't want to spend more hours with the same lame combat and trekking through similar dark, uninteresting woods with boring cabins to find a few bullets and repeat over and over again, in between some occasionally good plot mixed with cheap scares and corny "creepy" voice dialog. This game might be good for a 12 year old on a console, but count me out.
