Why thank you, Remedy, pun intended.

Ok I've played the Xbox version back when the game first came out. So I will give my first impression of the game on PC as well as a short review on the game. Finally we are able to play on a mouse and keyboard. T... Read Full Review

Great story and atmosphere. Tired gameplay

I waited for a discounted downloadable version of Alan Wake to be available, and boy am I glad I did. What I thought was going to be my game for the next few weeks, I only played for about 2 hrs. At first, I was thrilled... Read Full Review

    Good idea, bad performance

This game leaves pretty contradictable impression: one hand, technically well built game: good graphic engine, amazing game stage (deserves a special mention: the developers did really great work: well designed with a va... Read Full Review

    Worth playing

Classic survival - horror 3rd person shooter, nice dark atmosphere, not short, camera could be better. Overall worth it, enjoying the hours i played it. Camera really lets you down when you sprint i.e. across a bridge t... Read Full Review

Visually stunning, but convoluted and often frustrating.

I'm a little late to the party here as Alan Wake is already 2-years old, but since I'm a PC player, I've only recently been allowed to play this port. In addition, I waited for it to go on sale. As it turns out, that w... Read Full Review

    Really nice

The episode principle like a TV series first gets you thinking "How come no one did that before?". The story takes you all the way to the end, there is no moment when you feel like it is inappropriate or boring. It... Read Full Review

Alan Wake tells an eerie, thrilling story that makes you question reality and Wake's own sanity.

Games based on novels and movies are usually sub-par. You'll get your Unreal Engine rendition of a movie that follows the exact same formula despite the story, or a promising but tedious adaptation of a book, such as Nik... Read Full Review

Alan Wake is best described as "already seen it all". Storyline has enormous potential but uses only 20%.

Everyone who played it knows the good sides but as the game goes further all of this magic disappears. All that scary, misty atmosphere becomes dull and boring. Storyline suddenly turns into a "go there, got there, kill ... Read Full Review

Overrated overhyped , No auto attacks slow run speed out of ammo all the time.

First of all let me start by saying a shadowy figure with an axe is chasing me WHY THE HELL DO I RUN SO GODDAMN SLOW. Second, the dodge sucks balls, cause i can't see anything behind me and these zombie undead guys are... Read Full Review

The story and graphics are the best aspects of this, not so scary and beautiful game.

I wouldn't use adjective innovative when describing story of this psychological "horror" game, because we all have played some action, rpg game whose story is based around good and evil, gods and demons, lightness and darkne... Read Full Review

    Not Bad

Well it was a nice adventure filled with alot of action. My taste doesnt really lie in this genre, it was the story that captivated me though. The walk-through was about 6 hours long and that seemed perfect due to the fa... Read Full Review
