It was year 2000, as far as I can remember, when I first saw this game. And it was so, that I didn’t noticed its treasures in the beginning. I thought similar thoughts as previous reviewer. But I kept returning to this game, and I started to fall in love with it.
Today I really like this game - especially the nice graphics, lighting effects and music score. Sometimes that music still haunts me, setting the dark mood, which is the most notable part of the game. Darkness – this is the reason why I love this game so much. But when darkness, provided by music and environments meets various gory things like bloodbaths and rivers of blood + some voodoo cult – it makes me shake off the couch like a little too-happy girl.

About a half year ago I bought my own copy of this dark piece of software, and I was happy to immerse myself into that red-flowing river of darkness once more, searching for my loved one, and finally find her. I think, that only flaw in this game is its shortness. Outside that – I love everything about and in this game – from the greatly done opening movie, till the gameplay, enemies and story itself. Yes, in storyline there was nothing new, but the old stuff was greatly done.
Overall – this game is a nice and dark piece of a 3-D platformer. Nothing too dark or evil, or scary, but the darkish mood, that this game manages to set, fits perfectly in this genre.

I recommend this game for those, who love such a classic games as this - even today. Even more I recommend this game for those, who are searching for some good done dark games to fill the gaps in collection of original PlayStation games.

And yes - I don’t know why this game is so underrated. Or maybe I love this game just because of that mood it sets?!
