From the overall tone of the review I thought this would have got a higher score, particularly when you consider the game is free to play.  Had you paid full retail price for this you might have felt short changed, but considering the positive comments in the review about the art style and the fluid combat a 5 seems a bit on the harsh side.

I'll say it since nobody else has: Okami. Ripoff.

I need a "good" hack and slash RPG so bad. There is not a single real hack and slash RPG on the new consoles. I have to go back to PS2 and play "Champions of Norrath" or "Baldurs Gate". Believe it or not if I could demand someone makes any video game it would be a reboot of those games on a modern console.

I was so looking forward for this game, as I like American McGee! I'm kinda disappointed. It seems like they rushed the game and didn't polish it :(

@jflkdjs more than polishing the game, it looks like they didn't improve the depth of the gameplay and of the story that drives it!

I can't even look at the isometric hack-and-slash genre any more. It's about as played out as military shooters. This type of gameplay is in desperate need of innovation.

I personally hate grinding, independently from which game requires it: diablo 3, aion, wow, Tera, or whatever else. Grinding kills my fun to play a game, be it in huge raids or in single mobs

Lol, Diablo 3 had all of these problems: repetition, grinding, micro transactions, retarded hit boxes, among many others, yet it somehow managed 8-9's across the board.

@whiteagle18 "games like .. Diablo 3 offer much more in the way of tactical consideration, level diversity and pacing shifts."  So, Akaneiro's issue is it doesn't have enough positive things to earn a better score than Diablo 3.
