Aion: Tower of Eternity Official Trailer 1 (PC)

Kinda fun at first, but eventually turns into every other Asian-type of MMO. Heavily grind-based and plagued with exploiters and gold farmers. I'd stick with EQ, WoW, LotRO or others PtP mmos.

This game was fun at first but got frustrating , queues, kill stealing, and gold spammers make this a very un fun game to play anymore

Okay fully agree with interpolation7, the trailer on their site actually looks kinda good. My only worries now are, will the gameplay be good? and will the game be a graphics hog? Both are essential to me, I won't play a bad to play game and I won't cheap out on the graphics just so that it'll run. I've played both WoW and GW, prefer WoW for two reasons, gameplay and okay easy to run graphics. If this has those qualities, and its free, I'm changing over immediately.

indeed... horribly aweful voice acting. was literally the first thing I thought. didnt get it out of my head the entire time actually. however I will remember this video now, because of how bad it was...

Looks like a decent game, but theres no way i'm paying for another mmo unless it completely blows me away. Also, the voice acting from the trailer was awful.

if you ask me this game can be a great hit and challenge that will make something of new, it has some crap stuff but it is something with good potential we will have to see for it

OK, just looked at the vids on Aion online. Kinda interested, but what it has going against it is that it's an MMO. I haven't found one I've liked yet, and still more than skeptical of this one. Sounds like the folks that have been playing the beta have mixed reviews as well. It looks beatiful, and graphics are a big deal, but it'll take more than that...We'll see.

Whoa! That really IS and old Trailer... Lots of things have changed. I'm in the closed betas - and we're still playing on an early version - Wish we had version 1.5 for our tests. But it may not be completely finished yet.

also this is indeed old video. the asmodians wings arent bat wings but just black feather wings and the overall looks have been improved

inalusi, ye we know, it kinda says that on the begining :) ive been on the closed beta and i have to say that this game is great. there is little grinding involved, i.e. gettin quest items but hey, what mmo doesnt? and when the retail version comes and patch 1.5 the quests rewards 50% more exp so the grind will be even more minimum. the world seems and feels kinda tight at first, for the places seems to be just one big tube your running and theres not that much of wandering involved but after while the world really opens. The characters and animations are great, even if they do feel little laggish. but they look awesome and the game works on older riggs nicely :) not like Warhammer where the whole game is just laggish doesnt work well on anything :D The combat in game is basic mmo-styled but i really liked the chain-system. keeps you in game all the. i didnt expect anything from this game but now im actualy anxious to play the full version :)

OMG ..all movie are from 2006-20007 go to aion online and see new gameplay and new movie and judge after that ,in this game you have good and funny quests,party and raid quest ,pvp quest ,pre quest for instance ,nice instance from lvl 10 to lvl 50 ,pvp-ve keep siege in abis,warlords bosses , battleground dungeon (pvp-ve) ,arena 5or10ppl battleground ,pvp zone ,pve zone,rift portal ...so what you want..more??yes we have more >stigma sistem for skils, flaying ,ghatering skils ,crafting (yes you can craft lvl 50 items with legion help ),encheants and more ...

First off, I've read many many forum threads from beta testers (Korean and english) and by ALL accounts this is NOT a Korean grindfest, most of the lvling is done completely through quests. It has a lvl50 cap and supports 6man teams as well as 24man raids. The whole game is a PVEVP and rather than being a typical auto-attack walk away afk game the fighting is completely skill based. If people BOTHERED to look you'll find MANY gameplay videos across the internet . Also the two official sites have the lore of the game in detail, you just have look. problem with this game is that WoW already had a solid background from Warcraft Strat games... and ppl were familiar with the lore etc... this game...? lolwut? I'll wait for the SW MMO tyvm

Graphically, there's no doubt they've been doing as much as they could with the CryEngine. It's just that they haven't released much actual gameplay videos which probably means this is gonna be another korean MMO grindfest, like most of you have already pointed out (Lineage II... sry but it really was ;p).

This will be a hybrid of WoW and Lineage...which is great cuz I love both!!! May MMORPG's live on forever!

They must have thought this game would bring in enough revenue so they could fire Richard Garriott and kill Tabula Rasa... It seems very Korean looking, in spite of using CryEngine. There aren't any games that I'm really looking forward to right now. Maybe in 2012/13 when the new generation of consoles comes out the PC games will look better. Until then, I doubt that anything will really stand out from the crowd. I'm bored with gaming. Aion does have some beautiful concept art, though.

I've tried all the classes in the Beta, which you can only get to Lv 10. Flying is limited time If you think WoWs combat system is repative, just wait for this. Quest log = confusing. Really, to just sum it up, it's another Korean MMO.

story line looks a little dumb but game looks fun im a pretty big fan of guildwas and it looks pretty similar i really could care less about graphics on this game cuz millons of pp play WoW and them graphics aren't that awsome besides im pretty sure with a good graphics card on your pc would help alot

Let me Just Say This WHY Did they waste there time with this game? it makes me sooo angry They should have spent that time working on Guild Wars 2. also the arrmor and charrs from this game all seem barrowd. lets see..perfect world anyone?
