This game ties in all the things that make MMO exciting. Add to that the glorious eye candy and cutting edge modern graphics from games like Elder Scrolls and you have probably the most addictive game to hit the streets..

This makes previous hits like WoW look primitive (think 80's primitive not 90's!!). While the graphics are great, they are still having some growing pains dealing with all the pent up demand on the servers. NC Soft says they will get this resolved so I will take them at their word.

Aion takes elements of several popular games like Guild Wars, WoW and Elder Scrolls, mixes them in a PvPvE world. If you want to duel you can duel, if you want to go questing you can quest, or just craft. I like some of the aspect of the crafting system as gold is rare at the beginner levels (and the monsters hit hard until you pass level 19) and you need to make better weapons or gear to survive and prosper. (I would like them to introduce things like the ability to buy land and homes then furnish them in some future update.) This game also has a strong economics system even surpassing the one in Guild Wars.

All in all a great time.
