it might seem bad on the surface but at its core this game set the trend for rpgs

Aidyn Chronicles: the first mage when I first heard of this game 7 years ago I was skeptical I assumed that it would just another run of the mill useless game on the n64 but as soon as I played it I was hooked I couldn't stop playing it, every next moment in this game was a utter surprise I could never tell what was going to happen next. With so many twists and turns I felt like i was being pulled in to a new world and that's exactly what happened. As I played it and as the years went by I was getting more and more used to it and I kept playing it so much that it got to the point where I knew the game inside and out.

I loved everything about this game UI loved how you traveled I loved how you fought I loved getting to know the characters I even loved the dialogue the cut scenes and let's not forget it's amazing music. This game is pure gold but at the time no one gave it the credit it was due and this game became very underrated and under appreciated. Everyone critized the game by saying it's graphics were crap that the battle system would quickly fade out and that no one would be interested in it's lengthy text based dialouge cut scenes, but they were all wrong it became a instant trademark for a long line of future rpgs. Sure somethings about this game were weird but in the end it became a game that changed the rpg genre.
