Check out the E3 trailer for Age of Empires Online.
heck yea, 1 month. Cant wait!
so nobody gets killed ?
wow..why all the hate? maybe more "cartoony" so it runs better online?
it would been better if they made it look like aoe 2 with better graphics
Meh
Cartoon ,Great
At first I thought it was blood splatter, but it was fruit.
age of empire, i am disapoint
This junk looks like a p***ied, watered down version of a game I used to love.
@cyber_oblivion
I have to ask. Why the cartoon-ish style?
Previous Age of Empires were all rated Teen for having depictions of historical violence. (One doesn't expect kids below teenage years to study about historical conflicts, does one?)
Hence, the cartoonish art-style (and no blood at all); Microsoft is hoping that it can hoodwink the ESRB and other ratings groups into giving Age of Empires Online a rating that is as low as possible - and it worked (somewhat); ESRB gave it an E10+.
When a game is "free-to-play", the game-maker will want a legal audience that is as wide as possible; a lower age rating can help achieve that, and Microsoft realizes it.
(The ESRB was still able to see through the ruse and gave the label "Mild Violence" instead of "Cartoon Violence" however. :P )
I have to ask. Why the cartoon-ish style? I don't go with it tbh.
Greece for the win.
lol talk about unfiar when some guy slices up your basket of fruit!
