I was a huge fan of this the first time it came out and would play LAN games all the time. The graphics are very dated now and I do not know where they get "remastered in HD" from as it looks the same or worse as it did a decade ago. Nothing is HD and the sound is low quality.
The game runs terribly on my computer. This is my 4th new computer since the first time I played it on a pentium 5 when the original version would run without a hiccup with 8 players on the LAN. They now allow pop. limits of 500, but the game is unplayable once there are 100 units on the field and grinds to a complete halt. The controls are (and maybe always were) terrible.
