Graphics 9.5: Lets cut to the chase best graphics out for an mmo or any other game for that matter. The Fps wont go over 40 'swhen outside and hit the low 20's even on high end pc's on 1280 or higher res, but the game seems to flow just rite even at those low fps. On a good note when inside a dungeon, you will prolly get 50-60 fps.
Art style 10: yes this is a category as well for me, i game with the most advanced graphics but with uninspired boring scenery and items its not worth the time for me.
Anyway going back on the subjected, AoC art directions is amazing every single instance and zones are full of details and some of the atmosphere were just amazing! sometimes i would just get yelled by my group cause i will lag behind taking a view of the scenery.
The monsters look great many from your classic fantasy mold and from the Conan world, also to note that the developers did a real nice job adding different textures to certain characters , and huiman enemies comes wearing different types of weapons and armors, which is nice cause u wont have any of those moments when u wonder why all the bandits in the camp are identical twins wearing the same exact clothes and weapons.
The armors are different from your classic mmo, no your endgame armor wont have gems floating and flames coming out of your behind. They are all very realistic and highly textured, and it gives u the sense of being in a world where one of the conan movies could take place. The item in this wolrd prolly best described as "Simple but brutal!".
Gameplay: This type of game doesn't follow the cookie mold of all mmo "our gameplay is pretty much the same exact thing as every other mmo , but look once u hit lv 10000 u get to ride a dragon!"
no AOC gameplay is innovative in controls thats par to many action games, the directioanl attacks add variety and a trill never seen before in a mmo.
Now concept wise , in Pvp servers everybody can attack each other when out in the world, which is a very trilling experience because you never know when you gone meet someone and what their gone do, Attack you or help you. Reminiscent of demon soul.
Audio: great u can even set how frequently music and effect are used!
