Afro Samurai is a good game, but far, far too short. Great cell shaded graphics and excellent voice overs.
I beat this game in something like 4 hours. The combat was very fun and the controls intuitive and easy to learn. The fun thing about this game was all the anime style violence. This game was loaded with blood and gore, so parents , keep your kids away if you are trying to censor them. In games like this you usually find the camera modes unwieldy and awkward but not so with this title.
The sound effects were amazing, as were the very, very well done voice overs.
The storyline follows the comic very closely and any fan of the comic or anime will enjoy this game, as did I.
I would say that this game is easy, but after speaking with others on the matter, it was easy to me because I was used to ninja style games such as ninja gaiden, and so on, but to others who were not used to that style of gameplay found it less then easy.
Overall this is game is a good cheap pick, and great fun. The only problem is that there is no replay value, once you beat it, that it, over and out, no reason to play any more.
