Afrika Demo (PlayStation 3)

I wont be getting it, I can do this for real whenever I want.

I wonder if the animals can attack you and of course if you can attack them >=)

This is lame... it's soooo much better to explore Africa in Far Cry 2, run over a zebra or two with my jeep, kill some bad guys, watch the sunset... lovely!

interesting but not the game for the average gamer. I'll buy it someday.

Im in tears over here over that dude, he is just hilarious and seems like hes on speed or somethin. Towards the end it looked like he was trying not to laugh when he was turned away from the camera. Just hilarious. Not sure what to make of the game though. Looks kinda cool and different. May get a little repetetive.

ok i cant take this, i think this game is a waste of time and even the guy seems like he ashamed hes talking about a game where u take pictures of FAKE ANIMALS. Wow, and then selling these fake pics. Im not saying its boring im saying its dumb. If you want to observe the beauty of Africa and animals then watch nat geo not this crap. What would u rather see, real animals or fake 3d animated animals.

im getting this game but thats cuz i like playing different types of games.no shame in that.i was actually waiting for this game.plus quit ripping on ps3. ps3 in my opinion is mainly for people who like rpg games like ff and other japanese games.xbox 360 is for people who enjoy shooters and racing games.not saying thats all these systems got.

I'm very interested in this game provided the AI mimics animal behavior in a somewhat realistic manner. That aside I think its a beautiful idea. If things go well I hope to see more games simulating different environments down the road. The possibilities are limitless.

This game isnt boring as pple make it out to be, i personally love animals so that also contributes to me getting alot out of the game. I've been wishing forever for a game like this that just lets you appreciate the beauty and nature of Africa. There behaviors are realisitic. The detail is amazing to the finest grain of hair on their body looks realistic. I beat every mission on this game and hope they announce a sequel with hopefully different environments. I can spend hours just sitting and taking pictures in different angle and of different behaviors the animals do. Anyway I hope anyone who gets this game will enjoy it as much as I have! ^_^

I do agree with the whole "exclusive to" stuff. I have a PS3 but I know people who have a 360 and I think to myself "So why are they missing out?" That said, Afrika is looking like a nice change of game. Kind of reminds me of Poke'mon Snap which came out waaaay back in the N64 days. Which wasn't that bad actually =).

this actually looks pretty interesting. I know everyone will insult it because you can't blow anything up or shoot anything but it looks like it is a good educational game that will teach about how beautiful the wildlife in Africa is and how it needs to be preserved.

Playstation has always been the more mature console, that's why more adults own it. Leave little bouncing aliens in halo for xbox kiddies. As for this game, I think I'll pass but it's original which is good.

Looks like a relaxing game. The music is annoying.

@ r_win whats your problem ? ive never said that a i am a 100 % fan of Microsoft and Xbox 360 !! i own a xbox360 yes, but i am not what you called a "fanboy" :D how old are you ? of course i want to see whats coming next for Sonys Playstaion 3 i loved games ! never mind on which console it is. But the truth is xbox360 has better games than the ps3 by now ! That's a fact.

not my type of game but it doesn't mean im going to slate it off. Seems pretty relaxing to me. Not a bad idea if you ask me

PS3 is starting to become more creative and artistic. Its not just worried about reaching out to gamers but to the rest of the public

@videogamevideo Thank you for pointing out the obvious. PS3 does have much better exclusives. @touchdownbundy the game is meant to capture a different audience, like children and casual gamers like myself. I think its pretty dope. Gran Turismo was only a test run.

@stormbard its easier to go to Africa if you try to work in humanitarian societies like the Peace Corps, etc.

why do fanboys always turn a video of a safari ps3 game, into a negative for the ps3 n a positive for the 360? who cares what exclusives there are on what ever console, some people have no lives...

I think this is a great idea, especially because I hate zoos and cannot afford to go to Africa for a holiday! I think my kids will love it too, as it looks very realistic, it seems relatively easy to play, and my kids love animals.

@Videogamevideo GTA IV a disappointment ? btw. i hate halo ! forza motorsports 2 gets a 9.2 / Gran Turismo 5 Prologue a 7.5 ! forza 3 is coming and it will be the biggest racing game project ever.
