A good Ole Sim

User Rating: 6.5 | Air Management II SNES
It certainly wasn't flash or fast paced, no real disasters or alien attacks, it was mostly management, planning routes, and making money, buying the right kind of plane for each rute, make millions by setting up flyigns to Nice, probably the busiest place to fly too, or hong kong. It's really hard to describe because it's all management, i Wouldn't call it fun, but more just interesting. The only negatives i'd say is that its a tad unrealistic in some places, like if you buy smaller business, they will all be profitable at the start, then magically one year and forward, be unprofitable, but you can just sell them and rebuy them, and they will be profitable again...???
The game tries to mix macro and micro management, from chooseing the plane, to choosing the air fare, to choose the hotel to buy, to choosing the rep to have per terminal etc. The game never really found a nice balance. But it didn't work against you either, it insured you always had something to do every year, even if it was the same thing you did last year.
Fo rhard core sim players, I recommend it, it is interesting to manage an airline, those of you looking for thrills should avoid this like a pleague.
