By far the best in the series a must have for anyone who has a DS

User Rating: 9.5 | Advance Wars: Dual Strike DS
So it's the first instalment for the Ds for our favourite Nintendo war strategy game advance wars, a long anticipated game and the game I've probably been the most excited for.

I remember buying then playing in the shop straight away =P So on to the review

Gameplay- The game play follows a few years after the events of advance wars 2, the 4 armies join together and live in peace. Until the Blackhole return again.

The game has added a lot from the last one. New units and C.O's and other things like Com towers to boost attack, and C.O's powers and dual strike battling.

First off the dual screen so now were on the DS we have 2 screen, most battles (Single battles) you will have you field on the bottom and information on the top. Other battles there will be another battle going on in the top screen. For the majority of these battles the CPU will take control of these units but you can play both in War room battles. The object is to win both fields, the win of the other field will then come to help you on a 2 on 1 battle and gives you the ability to us dual strike. Dual strike you get to use both C.O's super powers in one turn giving you two turns in one turn.

There a lot of new C.O's and to go with the C.O's there is a levelling up system. This lets them equip skills, skills help you in combat you get ones that let you take building faster, and see further in Fog and let you do more damage on certain terrains. Its a lot of fun trying to get every character past level 10 to unlock an alternate costume.

The game has now also added other play modes, like combat which is a active time shooting version of advance wars as well as survival mode where you have to try and complete as many levels will either limited turns, money or time.

Graphics - The graphics in this version are a lot fresher and newer and are very nice to look at

Sound- More C.O's more music, the music is great and the sound effects have got even better.

Summary- If you have a DS I really suggest this game it's a lot of fun. It's a game you can keep coming back to and playing its hard to get bored of.
