Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising has impressive graphics and battling animations. It has several different modes of play such as campaign and multiplayer. The campaign is very interesting with a strong storyline and 20+ missions. These missions can include anything from breaking pipelines, wiping out the enemy, or trying to last a certain amount of turns until reinforcements arrive. The missions take place on five different continents with each continent you play as a different country and different COs. COs are the characters that you play as with each one having specific strenghts, special powers, and weaknesses. War room is another mode found in the game. In the War Room you can choose dozens of maps to play against the AI. You can make teams of 2 vs 2 and play alongside your AI ally to defeat the other two opponents. You can also make your own maps in the Map Editor and play them. One good feature in this game is in the multiplayer games. Only one Advance Wars 2 game pack and one GBA is required for multiplayer gameplay for up to four people. After one player is finished taking their turn they press end and pass on the GBA to another player for them to take their turn. It is a great addition to the game since it adds many hours of replay value to the game. Anyone seeking for a game with many fun hours of play and different modes of play should get Advance Wars 2 Black Hole Rising.
