When I first got this game many years ago I didn't know what to expect. My friend told me that its similar to Sim City where you control the people and the land. He was close. Actraiser is actually a fun game where you are a GOD/Angel that has to come down to the planet surface in order to fight monsters and clear the way for your "subjects" to live peacefully. Well, as peacefully as you would like them too because you also have control over different environmental disasters. So you can "shake" them up if you wish to be mean or even if you want the land to change and be improved. Destroy the old and let the people replace it with new. Keeping in mind that this is a SNES game and the graphics/gameplay arent up to par with games now-a-days I still enjoyed playing it. In my opinion it is a vast improvement over Sim games because you get to earn what you rule over by fighting for it.
