If you think Action 52 for the Genesis is as terrible as the Nes version, think again. This time it's been improved, and actually had development in it. Thank goodness the 1993 release was enough to make it playable. From broken game-play to terrific improvement, Action 52 for the Genesis is worth a rent for compliation fans, but it isn't great enough to be a reccomended game. In fact, it's far away from that.

The game is similar to the Nes version, except it's actually playable. There are 52 games in the game, of course, and they all are thrown in there at the same time. Most of the games are generally easy, but some can be quite challenging. Some games in there include Cheetahmen, The Ooze, etc. However, the game is very boring, but at least it isn't completely broken.

Graphically, the game is still broken. The sprites and level design look like a nes game, and dull movements are in place. The sound isn't inviting either, although it's better than the Nes version.

Action 52 has been improved, but it's not enough to make it worthwhile. Although the game and sound is improved, it's still one of the worst Genesis games ever made. If you want a choice between the Nes and Genesis version, get this version. But if you want a fun, musically and graphically inviting compliation, skip to another compliation.
