A worthy addition to the PSPs library. A must have for any PSP owner.

User Rating: 8.3 | Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception PSP
Ace Combat X is more of a story game as it follows a pilot called Gryphus one or "The Southern Cross" as told in the eyes of a reporter. The player controls Gryphus one and flys for a small nation called Aurelia which has been invaded by its northern neighbor called Lesath. Its up to Gryphus one to free Aurelia from Lesath. There are over 30 aircraft to fly in this game though, some of them are fictitious ones that were brought over from Ace Combat 3. The cutscenes in the game are art inspired, similar to the cutscenes from Ace Combat 4. Great graphics, especially for a psp game and great story telling. To bad the story ends quick but, you can alter how the game goes. On the briefing screen, at times you can choose your own route. Each route can alter how a future battle goes. So if you want to complete all missions, you might have to play through the game more than 3 times choosing different routes each time. The games sound does not sound to good through the PSPs speakers but if you put headphones on, it sounds pretty cool. The music sounds great, it mostly has a techno style to it. ACX also takes advantage of the PSPs online capibilitys. You can now dogfight with up to 4 players. The only bad side though is that its a short story. Overall, its not bad. I highly recommend it.
