I like the presentation already. The only problem is that the in game engine looks exactly like Ace Combat X, which is OK, but they could still try tweaking it.

I'm sorry I can't help but notice a tiny problem here. Valahia or Valackya...however they called it...fictional or not...that is a huge part of Romanian history (it's a longer story, I won't bore you with it). All I have to say, though is that, as fictional as Ace Combat's world is, naming them like that is...inappropriate to say the least.

Ace Combat 5 was the epitome of the series... 6 was a letdown with is content so watered down. (20$ for what SHOULD be earnable planes is a ripoff.) And this one will be worse, entire wars arent decided by air battles, at least there was an alternate universe to blame it on in the last 6 AC games.

THANK GOD, REAL WORLD LOCATIONS AT LAST! No more fake countries like Yuktobania, fake continents like Osea, and this weird alternate-world-with-real-world-planes stuff. The writing still seems to be pretty melodramatic and ludicrous, but at least it will happen in our world and should be a bit more involving as a game about aerial conflicts.

I must say that I am mostly suprised. I mean WOW. That's a great story! Perfect for a movie. Too bad it's on PSP (mine is broken). I think that PSP shouldn't have this games. Its just a portable console! With MGS: Peace Walker and this Ace Combat, PSP could really start to have more success (nothing compared to DS, obviously) PS. Sorry my awfulenglish, hope you get what I mean!

The same old worn gameplay it seems. And this is coming from Namco, the dudes who made Soul Calibur. They should just make an air shooter like Sega's After Burner Climax.

Looks like the graphics are a bit mediocre so far but, i'm sure they will improve. Ace Combat has always been the best flying game in my opinion. I agree with fritigoerd on the PSP not being the proper platform for a game like this and I can only wish they would make a version for the PS3.

@alejandroy Well because the last game on the PSP was good but almost impossible to control .... the PSP is not the right platform for this game at all ... also is long overdue an Ace Combat on the PS3 , just not a remake of the Xbox 360 version (the game itself never reached its appropiate greatness , an NOT because it was made on 360 , it just sucked)
