Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Gamescom 2010 Announcement Interview: Kazutoki Kono (Xbox 360)

I guess this explains why they haven't had a new game out since 4. They've been redoing the entire game structure from story to the core gameplay. I think it would be awesome to see how this tight view system with all of the new controls turns out considering it's much more a low altitude game now and would require some more automated features. Can't Wait! I love games that let you fly and make it feel like a real rush.

I also hope it'll attract more people to play against online. Nowadays you ca't even play game with a full lobby because very little people play. They should also make the paint jobs usable from Fires of Liberation on Assault Horizon cause I've wasted a lot of points on them but I can't even show them off to anyone online.

I liked the selection of SP. Weapons in AC04, the graphics of AC06, and the storyline and numerous aircraft in AC05. Will this be a combination of all of them? I sure as hell hope it will...

Honestly I mean couldn't they get a dude to translate. If I was that guy I would be upset; not only is it a woman translator she has no confidence in her voice.

Funny how they asked in english and he is answering on the video but the translator voice is a woman hahaha.

I was all set to be mad about the fact that they're ditching the old Ace Combat universe, but then I saw a helicopter do a barrel roll... But seriously, I hope that the up-close camera/quicktime events don't take up too much of the game. Being part of a giant, epic battle seems already feels intense, they don't need this "visceral dog-fighting" thing to do that.

I knew about the helicopters, which is awesome, but holy crap, bombers! I just might get my wish to contol a B-1B and B-2. I've been waiting a long time for a company to do that for me. As if I didn't before, I REALLY want this game now.

as long as they dont have that ridiculous acrobatics move from hawk-x... which it looks like they did. it will be a sad sad day when they infects the ace combat series....
