Good ideas which fall over on its face.
Where does 7 Blades fall down? You hack and you slash, with seven swords (or in the case of the lass, shoot and shoot) and try to get to the 'goal'.
The goal, there is the first problem, I often found myself unsure what and why I was going to where I was going, the story is weak at best and though the seemingly slightly over the top rural japanese setting is nice, it is quickly lost as the game proceeds to just get odd, flying...saucers? how strange, not even sure WHAT they were.
There seems to be little strategy to the overal game, just hit things till they fall over or simply run past them if you can, that is to not say it does not have hard moments.
Over all, some will ultimately like this game, many will think it is so-so the rest will never pick it up for all the sushi in Japan.
