Seb tackles the rumors of a dual thumbstick peripheral for the Nintendo 3DS and finds out what's hot on Steam.
The host looked like the guy from lonely island!
@Uberfinn I checked. Just making sure. Dues ex is still 49.99. Hitman, CIV 5, and Need for speed are some notable specials. No Dead island,Deus ex though.
@Eliianar You can check, just got to the steam website and see what they have: http://store.steampowered.com/
Are these steam deals also in the US?
So....let me get this straight. If I wanted to get a 3ds with another thumbstick, I need to buy a docking bay that makes the original ds look slim? Is it just me or does anyone else feel like this is a giant step backwards. No, this is not a step, its a fall into a crater. It better have a xtra battery, rumble or something awesome for me to have some reason to want to give up my dignity walking around with that...
The thumbstick peripheral should have an extra battery (because it's huge).
Well that peripheral didn't look real to me,but at the same time it didn't look as bad as some have said. They could use it like the Nyko batter expansion at the same time as adding a second stick,so that's a plus. But really I've had my 3DS since day one,and not had it run out of battery once.Just pop it into the cradle when you're done. As for the stick attachment,if you read the links GS included in it's report on this you'll see even the leak-ees don't know if it's true yet.
I'm hot but not on STEAM.......XP
Me love me some Steam sales. Nice episode.
@GeneralConker They will. They just want to milk us for that ugly peripheral first ha ha.
Great job man! I really enjoyed it.
He said buffer. he said a bad word,
My god it also looks horrible, Nintendo is just going downhill, I just can't believe it, that peripheral is so freaking stupid and unnecessary, if they start to make games that only work with it, I'm selling it
the analog stick peripheral looks like ass. I'm not buying that ridiculous looking thing. Sould have been on the 3DS in the first place. If a good game like Resident Evil Revelations comes out requiring the peripheral, I'll sell my 3DS instead.
Could they have MADE that 2nd stick any bulkier or uglier? That's exactly what I wanted, an Entire Sega Gamer Gear attached to the back of my 3ds, so I can have an extra nub. They can't be serious about this... What it must be is something for Nintendo to appease current 3ds owners for when they roll out the new model featuring built-in dual thumbpads. This way, they can technically call the old 3ds "compatible" with the new dual-analog games, even though they know no one with a shred of dignity would be seen carrying around that monstrosity.
do our handhelds really need peripherals now too?
Nintendo had always been the peripheral company so im not that surprised to see this extra thumbstick. Now, how about a Powerglove :p kidding
You guys realize this add-on makes the 3DS have controls just like a 360/PS3/Psvita with dual anolog and shoulder buttons. That means developers have no excuse and can make Mainstream games on the 3DS. That also means we can play awesome shooters, Metroid Prime 3DS anyone? :)
that peripheral looks supa lame... im going to buy a vita. you know the one that releases without requiring immediate updates? that one. the only thing is... i really like pokemon. im going to miss it when i dont the buy inferior console this gen.
The second analog is probably going to be used for a couple crappy games. No big deal.
I want a minifridge attatchment =D
in my opinion the second analog stick isnt a massive issue for the 3DS, there arent many of games that are going to utilise this feature to the extent of other dual analog controllers, and it makes the handheld even bigger, epic fail nintendo on this one sorry folks.
oh, if I could control a jetpack with my 3DS with dual analog sticks.....now we're talking!!!
It looks like that analog stick is going to really interupt gameplay.
Man, Nintendo should of made up their minds and just included the 2nd analog stick in the 1st place, I mean, I might get the 2nd analog stick add-on, but I hope it's cheap.
@Klevmore POUND not dollar. This is Gamespot UK.
Am I hearing it wrong or did he say MW3 was $39.99 on steam? Would be nice if that were the case..
Atleast Nintendo isn't coming out with another 3DS model for everyone to buy.
Lol uh ya it does seem the last word did start with the letter F...oops maybe they need to mod start/select hehe...
That peripheral looks extremely awful. The price drop and red 3DS had me interested in getting one, but I'll wait for the redesign now before I consider it again.
i am reporting this video, it says fukc at the end
Loved that " i don't know i think its stuck" lol
That peripheral looks absolutely awful.
Pretty goofy looking. *sigh* Aw man, I just want to buy one 3DS and games for it, that's all.
I hope Monster Hunter 3G gets a western release!
is the new Hitman game first person or third person because it look awesome
