The point of Microsoft’s 3D Movie Maker is to allow it’s users to create movies with pre-made 3D characters, props, text, and different 2D camera angles. Normally, it only came with old Microsoft windows 95 computers, but can still be found on the internet depending on where you look. It runs on a frame by frame system that has a pretty slow frame rate, but it easily allows you to create fluent motions. In 3DMM, only your imagination limits you. This program takes a long time to get used to, but once you can wield the awesomeness of this game, your movies will be awesome. Even if you get bored with using the movies pre made characters, with enough time you could even try to make characters out of props like different kinds of circles and objects. However, the overall graphics could have been much better, because it’s really hard to get things to look just right without being somewhat odd. Sound isn’t really a limitation because you can always import your own midi files, or even record music and sound as a wave file and import that as a voice or sound effect. The screen is set up perfectly, making movie making very easy after getting comfortable. The most common person who ever wants this game will want to make something funny, because the graphic style is cartoon like and doesn’t really make well for a cool movie without some form of comedy. Although this program is intended for children and younger ages, this program allows those who are creative enough to make blood out of various shapes and props that look quite graphic. Therefore, this game can apply to any kind of audience from childhood to people somewhere under age 20. The outcomes of the movies you make can be spectacular with a lot of time, so in the end… it all comes down to how badly you want to make a great movie.
