Nice prequel to a classic trilogy

This game serves as a prequel to the epic Laxius Force saga and while its plot is not remotely as interesting, the game's gigantic scope quite makes up for it.
Set in the world of the Deport, it depics how Random, Luciana and Sarah (the 3 "Stars of Destiny") eventually came to meet each other.
The game has good 2D graphics and a very nice soundtrack that fits the mood perfectly. Exploration is rewarded with gazillion of items, always a nice touch in a game of this genre. With about 40-50 quests to complete and many epic boss fights, you can expect about 50 hours of RPG goodness which is more than what most indie RPG offer. I would recommend LF rather than this one (mainly for the plot) but it's still a very satisfying introduction to the saga that deserves its reputation and high rating.
