Surprising look at the birth of Squaresoft.

Playing this game wouldn't give you a clue at who made this game, or in what direction the company who created this game would go. I believe this is Squaresoft's first game, and is totally different from any of the other Square games that everyone's played. It's very similiar to Activision(?)'s Buck Rogers back on the C64 in which the game scrolls automatically 'forward', with the ability to move right and left. I never played this game past the 2nd world or so, but it seems you collect stars, dodge/fight monsters, and jump over chasms to reach the next level in the world, with the end being a worm-like creature. Space Harrier probably spawned from this game, and did an excellent job of doing it. Not a great game, but not a horrible game. And very different from another old game of theirs, King's Knight, which is an odd one too.
