Don't waste time playing this one...

User Rating: 2.5 | 3-D Ultra Pinball: Thrillride GBC
3D Ultra Thrillride Pinball for the GBC is apparently not a port of the amazing PC title of the same name, but actually the original. It's a shame. Pay no attention to the "Time spent playing" score. You'll spend five minutes at the most trying to enjoy this load. You probably am wondering why I am reviewing this game. It's one of few games I have ever really hated. Just like a standard pinball game, you have two triggers to maneuver, with lots of bumpers and things like that. Like most pinball games though, this one gets old quick. The worst part of the game is the graphics. Unlike the PC version, this one is ugly. The color palette on the plain consists of gray, dark colors. The pinball setting you play in looks unfinished. Some parts of it look like bumpers were originally supposed to be there, and others just look broken.

What is included in the package is a rumble feature. Since the GBC didn't have that feature solely, the cartridge does. Boy is the cartridge ugly too. With a large top portion for the rumble, including a port for one triple A battery to go into, it sticks out like a sore thumb, especially on the GBA. The sound track in the game is terrible, and is later remixed in the PC version.

To sum things up, don't play this game. Ever. The PC version far surpasses it, and is possibly one of the best Pinball games ever. This game is broken and should have never been made.
