People have called this game a "Socom rip off!" and a "GTA rip off!". Well they are all wrong.Read my review to see why!

Graphics: Lets be honest here the delays did not help the graphics. The graphics are not good looking. They look like PS2 launch graphics. So if you are picky about your graphics look else where.

The Single Player: The single player is short and just down right awful. I say this because the AI just stand around shoot at you or they run right at you. The story for the single player is one that will not shock you. The single players story is way to easy to guess whats going to happen next. The only real interesting thing about the single player is the way its told. Its told through three characters. The characters are Freeze (A thug who wants out of a gang.), Detective Lester Williams ( He is a clean cop that knows the streets as well as a criminal.) and Shaun Calderon ( He is a leader of a gang called the 22nd Street D-Boys.). The only real reason you will play this is to get more stuff to customize your character for online play.

The Controls: A lot of people have complained about the controls being sluggish. Well they really aren't! You can go to options and up the sensitivity of your controls. When you up the sensitivity you will feel a big difference. The button assignment feels just right to me. But if you dont like the way the buttons are set up you can change them. (Like if you did not like the left trigger throwing the grenades you can switch the left trigger to jump and the jump button to throwing grenades.)

The Sound: Since this game is "Urban themed" it would make sense that the whole soundtrack is rap. The soundtracks includes 2-Pac, DMX, UTP Playas and much more. Since I do not like rap I have to listen to my footsteps because their is no custom soundtracks! But if you like rap you are in for a treat when you buy this game. Their is a free music CD with 12 tracks of some of the artist in the game.

The Online Play: This is where the game shines! Online play is great. You can customize your cop or gangster and bring it online. You can also create a custom graffiti tag for online. A lot of people have also said the online is sluggish well its not. The only reason it feels sluggish is because when you get shot you run slower and your characters vision gets blurred.
Their is also clan features. So you can start a clan/join a clan or what ever floats your boat.

Overall: All in all this is a game that you should buy or rent if you have online. But if you are looking for an epic single player look else where!
