Underappreciated, fun, but still not perfect.

User Rating: 7.6 | 24: The Game PS2
If you watch 24 then go buy this game now. The storyline is pretty good. It is written by the writers.

Now onto the rest -

Gameplay:

Not amazing. But it's still fun. A little weak for most games today but still, it's fun. Sometimes easy, sometimes hard. NPC's will sometimes just stand there shooting blindly making them easy targets. Camera can get screwy when you get close, also, while the split screen is kinda cool, it can throw you off.

The interrogation mini game is cool. The rest are easy puzzle games that should take you maybe 30 seconds to 2 minutes or so. Usually less.

The game is mainly 3rd person shooter but you also get to do some sniping and driving. The driving missions are a pain in the ass. The turning for cars is pretty damn bad, and it's almost impossible to escape police when you're being persued. Usually I have to find a really small, therefore fast parked car, or blow them up by making them crash..

Graphics:

Decent. Not terrible but nothing amazing. Driving missions look like a playstation one game almost. Outside of driving they're decent, and in cutscenes they're pretty good. Although, the faces on characters show little expression, and being based on real actors doesn't help this.

Sound:

Excellenant. Most of the real cast is voice acting, as well as the common sound effects and more. It's one of the best things.

Value:

Unlikely to play it again but maybe. I'll leave it at a six since you may want to go back and watch the story over. I don't know if there is anythign to unlock afetr you beat the game.

Also, the game will not take you 24 hours unlike they advertised. I beat around 5 "hours" in maybe 2 or less. Not including restarting after dying.

Tilt:

I gave it a 9. I enjoyed this game overall. If you watch 24 then definetly go buy this game. If you'e a casual viewer (which is hard with this show.) then maybe rent it or something.

If you're not, then you may be better with something like SOCOM or some other 3rd person shooter. Although you can give it a try. It's not terrible in the least, but nowhere near perfect.
