This game is similar in scope to the 2006 edition, except that you get to play through qualifiers the same way.

User Rating: 9 | 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa X360
Those who were disappointed by the 2006 world cup releases will be pleased by this. FIFA 2010 and FIFA 2011 feature clubs and national teams, but with a focus on clubs. No qualification mode applies for these games. This all happens in FIFA world cup 2010. You can just play through the world cup as it is set, or you can qualify any of 199 teams through qualifying. If you want club football, choose FIFA 10. If you want national team football, choose FIFA World Cup 2010.

Graphics in both games are awesome, real venues are used for all games at the World Cup finals stage (in South Africa), and some venues in the qualifying regions (good luck playing as the visitor in Mexico at the Aztec stadium). If you love socer, you'll love this game.

There are plenty of online modes to choose from, to enhance the experience. As the tournament progresses, there will be updates to squads.

This review is for the XBOX 360 edition.
