Fun for a short while but lacking in depth.
For those new to the genre the concept of driving around a dust track at high speed, smashing into your opponents may hold longer appeal. However, if you've played similar games then you'll probably leave feeling disappointed.
The controls are responsive, the graphics are smooth, and the soundtrack is appropriate. Unfortunately, none of these stand out significantly enough to make the experience compelling long-term. I beat many of the races based upon getting into a first position early and then simply side-swiping and competition that might come close. The pack often gets tangled and leaves the race open to you from that point forward. However, if you mess up your start then you'll have much more work ahead. This leads to a habit of restarting multiple times to get that early lead rather than actually racing and taking the corners seriously.
