A realistic simulator with dated graphics.

So you want to be a trucker. This game has nice physics and requires skill to drive without running anything over,BUT the pro's don't make up for the con's.
I'm a trucker in real life, and the truck really feels like a truck.WIth a load it takes awhile to get it rolling and even longer to stop.Backing up is a joy,and quite realistic. The tractor has wipers, and headlights, but no blinkers.Once you get on the highway it becomes tedious. The distantances are time consuming, especially when all the highways and exits are clones. There's no time compression to speed things up either.Normally i'd like that kinda realism, but not when i don't have a radio (a radio with a custom channel like grand theft auto would do wonders, but you don't even have AM).
Assuming you don't fall asleep on the 30 min generic highway drive, the game becomes cool again as you enter a city...but,like the highways, the citys are generic too.Oh ya,your guy will start dozing off after a while.Your screen turns black for a few seconds at regular intervals untill you rest.
The trucks top speed is 69mph,so there's nothing to break the highway blues...on top of that, cops will harrass you.I was so bored i started ramming the police and runnin the rig in fields etc.
The only fun part of this game is backing, and picking your way through traffic with fragile, heavy loads in town..unfortunately,2/3rds of the game is highway.UGH
I advise you to look elsewhere for your trucking game..this game has potential, but as it is,it's horribly boring.
