A good solid game overall however there are many missed oppertunities that could have made this game much better.

After installing and setting up a new profile you will be immediately be made to go through a tutorial about how to drive and manouver your truck, this only takes a few minutes but can seem to be a bit of wasted breath, this is mainly due to the fact that the only 'essential' controls are the Up arrow to accelerate, the Down arrow to brake, the Left arrow to steer left and the Right arrow to steer right.

After you complete the tutorial you will be offered to start making deliveries, these deliveries vary from gasoline to frozen food; also avaliable is a new 'Special Missions' feature which allows you to drive other veichals like busses or cars, they also include special cargo like a car transporter. These missions can only be done once and span the entire length of the playable map. Overall these missions can get repetitive and eventually quite boring.

The map you are able to drive on is huge, you could be spending up to 90 minutes gettting from one side of the map to the other, this to an extent is excellent but the downside is that if you are carrying cargo you can't save your game so you have to keep playing until you reach your destination. This can be extreamly tiring and i personally found it very hard to concentrate for that period of time. The map consists of Southern Canada, The entire USA and Norhtern Mexico so already you can see how big the map is.

In terms of graphics they are overall not great, in fact if i'm being honest there actually pretty bad. There is very little animation and everything seems a bit too structured, for example it seems that every car on the road is the exact same distance from each other and they seem to follow each other in straight lines the majority of the time, there is not much AI and this is unfortunate because ValuSoft missed a great oppertunity to make each car on the road unique.

It was also dissapointing to see that there was no storyline in the game whatsoever, again ValuSoft missed another oppertunity to step up to the mark of Big Mutha Truckers or any other driving game. Despite this there are other features that excel 18 WOS above the other major driving games, various parts of your truck can be customized both visually and preformance wise, the choice of skins for the trucks is remarkable and the detailing on them are excellent. Other features affecting the controls make the game extreamley authentic, things like customs searches and truck stops as well as gas stations add to the feel of driving a truck, the control system also gives the game an authentic feel, things such as the ability to turn your windscreen wipers on and off give it the impression of driving an actuall truck (even if the graphics are bad). Other features including black ice on roads or sun glare also add to the effect and the ability to use turn signals also boost this game above its lead competitors.

So overall this game has great, good and not so good points but it is a game worth getting if you have a few hours to spend
