The Gamecube's version of nintendo's 1080

This can be considered as the sequel to the original 1080 snowboarding game on the Nintendo 64, it boasts very similar controls to the original despite the change in the controller. The most obvious difference between this game and its predecessor is the graphics, with the much stronger Gamecube engine, the graphics are just stunning. The slopes are much more breath taking than the original game. This time the feeling is much more realistic than in the previous game, although there are still a few differences between this and the real thing. The ability to pull off tricks is still very simple as that is only part of the whole game where your job is to race down a mountain with a few friends competiting for who will get to be the first one to the finish line. The multipler portion of the game is also quite fun, however with the introduction of many online based multiplayers, sharing the screen with other people doesn't seem as good of an idea anymore. Nonetheless the game still delivers quite well.
