1080 Avalanche is alot better than what gamespot and most of the player reviews give it credit for. whilst it is not as deep or as fun as the SSX franchise it is still a solid, well rounded and enjoyable game. I have spent rediculous amounts of evening playing this game just to unlock the goals and secret boards n riders. It has a special charm that draws me bac into it and is probably the closet example of a real snow boarding sim, even nudging ahead of Amped. Whilst SSX is about colour and spectacular mountains 1080 delivers a down to earth experience with a deep lively alternaitve soundtrack, if you are lookin for something different 1080 is well worth a go!
