    $4.50, blue colored cart. Was very happy to see, I am a big 007 fan and I didn't get to play much of this one back in the day. Obviously it is no GoldenEye, but I remember it being good.

    Cleaned and disinfected the cartridge and tried it out, everything is perfect.

    Planning to go through this game sometime in the near future. But I still have 007 Blood Stone to playthrough on PS3 and that is a priority...

    It can't possibly compare to Goldeneye on the N64 because it wasn't made by Rare, but rather, Eurocom. I still think TWINE deserves a little more attention than it currently gets, as it is still an excellent shooter and 007 game in itself. In other news, I recently acquired Goldeneye on the Wii, in which Eurocom was involved, and I think it is not only worse than its N64 counterpart, but it is also worse than TWINE. My biggest gripe about it is that it doesn't even feel like a 007 game, but more like the other shooters you see these days (i.e. Call of Duty, Halo, etc). It's at least better than Rogue Agent though.

    Good grab TC. I own a blue cart as well.

    For it's time, it's a pretty good FPS. It's clearly no GoldenEye or Perfect Dark and I personally like a couple of other N64 FPSs better, but still...solid game.

    The problem with TWINE for me is it just seems so....vanilla. It does a lot of things decently, but nothing at all great and it just isn't unique enough to really stand out in my opinion.

    Being a realistic shooter really limits the creativity in the game when compared to similar games like Duke Nukem 64, Perfect Dark, Doom 64, Quake II & the Turok series. These games, while they may or may not be better all offer a unique experience I believe, whereas TWINE just feels like an inferior GoldenEye......I'd rather just play GoldenEye, to be honest.

    This game came out on blue and gray cartridges. I have a gray one. I honestly don't know about the differences between the differently-colored cartridges.

    Just tried playing my blue cartridge... no longer works... it seems Perfect Dark is the only game that works after all these years ;-;

    Hm, perhaps the blue cartridges are older than the grey ones, because I've had my grey cartridge for over a decade and it still functions properly.

    Yes, it came in Grey.

    I'm pretty sure the majority, if not all N64 games that were released in un-conventional colors like Blue, Black, Gold, Yellow, etc...have Grey versions as well.

    The colored versions are the original releases, while the Grey carts are later releases. Most games have no differences between the versions, some games like Ocarina of Time do though. (Glitches removed, Mirror Shield changed, Fire Temple music changed, Red blood changed to Green, etc..)

    is the blue version rarer?

    No, the Grey one is as it was released late in the N64's life cycle after the majority of game sales had been made.

    I liked this game the more than any other 007 game, probably because it was also my favorite Bond movie.

    Today will suck less than yesterday. Now that's optimism.
