The battle for the internet world continues in .hack//Outbreak
Soon after Kite and his group return from their battle at Net Slum they discover that the virus that is hiding within the game world is starting to cause problems in the server root towns and spreading to not only the game but now onto the outside as in the real world as Kite begins to believe at some point that he maybe the cause of the trouble because of his bracelet but knows he must continue to keep up the good fight thanks to a talk with fellow player BlackRose who reveals that she is also trying to help her little brother who was put into a coma also then soon learn from Helba that the key to saving everything is to somehow release Aura through the power of the Bracelet but for Kite to continue his mission he must have the teamwork of both Helba and Lios if he and the others hope to save everything or have it all destroyed.
The game has everything that was found within the other volumes like collecting items , raising the different types of grunty creautres on each server , leveling up your characters when you battle against the new stronger monsters in this game plus as a little added bonus that if you completed the events at Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground that appeared in the second game then when you look in some parts of the server root towns you may find a phantom like character of one of the many .hack//sign stars walking around as he or she will give you rare items for each encounter you see them until they disappear after six visits to each of them.
A little bit of a downside that I found with this .hack game is that you only get two new characters to join you as they include the legardary player Balmung the Blademaster and a new player to the game world Terajima Ryoko the Heavy Axeman but at least you got those other characters that you encountered in the other volumes to help you out but just to mention that characters Mia , Elk and Mistral are not in this game as events have occured with them that you will soon discover for yourself.
Just like you did in the other .hack games you must once against battle against those weird phase like monsters that can use Data Drain like Kite can as you must fight only two in this game which include Fidchell the Prophet which looks like a giant mask while the other one called Gorre the Machinator which is two giant stones that have faces which can be kinda creepy at times during the fight as they can hide their faces then make them appear like magic again so you better be prepared to fight them if you want to survive.
I really enjoyed playing through .hack//Ourbreak as it is my favorite one of the games in the series as you can once again if you have a saved file of .hack//Mutation on your memory cart then you can convert it over to the new game with everything from the other games or if you like a few players that didn't play the other games you can still play it as it will tell you the events of what's been happening up to that point so enjoy as this is a must have title if your a true .hack fan.
