Whats the easiest way to level up weapons?

For some strange reason my Broadsword level is higher than my Twin-blade and scythe level combined. O.O
Is it the monsters I've been fighting, or is it my fighting style?
If there are certain places I need to go that is best for each weapon, I'd love to know.
(BTW, I've already maxed out the level cap; level 100)
