Dot Hack Gu Volume 1/ Rebirth
This is the first game in the Dot Hack Gu series to grace the ps2.It has a darker and more sinister appeal too it that you may not have expected from a anime with bright color and nice attitudes but here it is.It has a whole new story line and new characthers that offers a good change from the old system.It begins from the end of the Dot Hack Roots anime and continues with it.You pkay as a PKK haseo trying to get revenge on tri-edge.You find that your characther in ''The World'' has been reformated by the PK Tri-Edge and that you are now level 1.You then go on a adventure with some other users of ''The World "and are quickly involved in a world so gigantic that you are usually lost and have no idea what to do next.You may think that this one will be just like the old ones you have played before here but you are wrong.Tjhis one has a fresh new fighting system and leveling system that will make you want to buy the next two in the series so that you can find out all about '' The World" and the players in it.One of the perks about this game is that you can customize your desktop to fit your pesonal tastes and preferences.You can either get the background from the boards for the world or you can get some from from your guild and then you can customuize them to your tatses.Also you can get some background music from your guild as well.he storyline in the game is rougly 30 hours long if you don't overlevel.That should be enough for the average gamer but if you want more cause that isn't enought to sataisfy your thirst then you can do all of the sidequests that this game has to offer.You can be a bounty hunter, you can be a flyer passer, or you can be a lucky animal kicker and more.If you do decide to do these quests to lengthen your playing times trhen you will get special item for doing so.That is so you don't spend your time doing something that you aren't gonna get anything from.What would be the point of doing that anyway.It would be a tottal bummer if that was the case.There aere also avatar battkes.These are out of body experiences where you fight as yopur avatar, the terror of death, SKEITh and fight other users avatars and sometimes aida.At times, the story can get a little boring with all the running aroun but the Dot Hack Gu Volume 1 experience should be a thrilling experience for any gamer that loves the Dot hack universe
